Stone + Steel was born from two decades of working with some of California's finest architects, builders, and designers — fabricating and installing natural stone across high-end residential homes, hospitality projects, and landmark commercial spaces across Los Angeles.
Over the years, one thing became clear: the same craftsmanship and material knowledge that goes into a luxury kitchen countertop or a hotel lobby floor could create something far more enduring. Something that lives in a room not as a finish, but as a statement.
That's how Stone + Steel came to be — a furniture brand designed, fabricated, and finished entirely in our Los Angeles facility, drawing on over 20 years of stone expertise to produce pieces that are made to last a lifetime.
The craft
Each piece is made to order using natural stone — marble, quartzite, travertine, and other materials sourced globally for their character, rarity, and beauty. No two pieces are identical. The variation in veining, tone, and texture is not a flaw — it is the point.
Our pieces range from the quietly timeless to the boldly sculptural, but all share the same DNA: honest materials, precise construction, and a standard of quality that only comes from building things yourself.
